The Allotment of HUDA Freehold Residential Plots to the General (GENER) Category Individuals
As per Haryana Government’s current reservation policy for the General Public, the eligibility conditions for the allotment of Haryana Urban Development Authority’s freehold residential plots are:
1. 71% of the total number plots in 1 Kanal, 14 Marla, 10 Marla, and 8 Marla are reserved for the general public.
2. 46% of the total number plots in 6 Marla, and 4 Marla are reserved for the general public.
3. An individual in the General category, who has ever been allotted a residential plot directly by Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) in the said Urban Estate of HUDA, in his or her name or in his or her spouse’s name or in the name of any of his or her dependent family member, shall not be eligible to apply under that said scheme.
However, there shall be no restriction on those individuals or applicants:
(a) Who have acquired a residential plot or house in the said HUDA area by way of purchase from open market or through action or re-allotment, or
(b) Whose spouse or dependents children have acquired a residential plot by the way of allotment or otherwise in the said Urban Estate developed by HUDA, or
(c) Who already own a group housing society flat or any kind of non-HUDA residential property in the said Urban Estate developed of HUDA.
An affidavit in this effect, attested by an Executive Magistrate 1st Class or Notary Public shall be furnished at the time of issuance of allotment letter.
4. The applicant must be a citizen of India and must have attained the age of majority (18 years) as on the date of application.
