Eligibility Conditions for Allotment of Haryana Urban Development Authority’s Freehold Residential Plots to the Dependents of Officers or Officials of Haryana Police Killed in Action or Encounter (HPKIA)
As per Haryana Government’s current reservation policy for the Dependents of Officers or Officials of Haryana Police killed in action or encounter (HPKIA), the eligibility conditions for the allotment of Haryana Urban Development Authority’s freehold residential plots are:
1. 2% of the total number plots in 1 Kanal, 14 Marla, 10 Marla, 8 Marla, 6 Marla, and 4 Marla are reserved for the Dependents of Officers or Officials of Haryana Police killed in action or encounter (HPKIA) subject to following terms and conditions:
(a) The family or dependent of the diseased officer, to the rank of DSP and above shall be eligible to apply for 10 Marla and above category of plots.
(b) The family or dependent of the diseased of the other ranks shall be eligible to apply for 8 Marla, 6 Marla, and 4 Marla a category of plots only.
2. Only one plot shall be allotted to a martyr’s family, as a whole.
3. The application shall be routed through the Competent Authority in the Police with due verification/certification.
4. If the applications received against this category are short to the plots available against this reservation, then left out plots shall go to the general category automatically.
5. An applicant under this category is entitled to avail the benefit of allotment only once in his or her lifetime in any of the Urban Estates in Haryana.
6. The applicant must have attained the age of majority (18 years) as on the date of application.
