Reservation for Riot Affected and Terrorist Affected Families in PDA Enclave Dhuri Residential Plots Scheme

Dhuri (Punjab, India), November 14, 2015

The Patiala Urban Planning and Development Authority (PDA) had launched a 210 freehold residential plots scheme (PDA Scheme Code PDA Enclave Dhuri) in PDA Enclave, Dhuri (District Sangrur) in Punjab on June 03, 2015.

As per Punjab Government’s current reservation policy, 5% of the total number of plots in 150 square yards, 200 square yards, 250 square yards, 300 square yards, 325 square yards, 400 square yards, and 450 square yards plots category are reserved for the riot affected and terrorist affected families in the PDA Enclave Dhuri plots scheme.

Accordingly, the Patiala Urban Planning and Development Authority had reserved 9 plots for the riot or terrorist victim families in PDA Enclave Dhuri freehold residential plots scheme.

The Government of Punjab has extended the reservation quota for the riot affected and terrorist affected families up to December 31, 2016.

200 Square Yards = 2 Residential Plot
250 Square Yards = 2 Residential Plot

350 Square Yards = 0 Residential Plot
400 Square Yards = 1 Residential Plot
450 Square Yards = 1 Residential Plot

Total Plots Available for the Applicants from Riot Affected and Terrorist Affected Families = 9 Residential Plots

Allotment of a residential plot in the PDA Enclave Dhuri scheme to a riot affected and terrorist affected familiy applicant will be subject to fulfillment of the applicable eligibility terms and conditions.

Eligibility Conditions for the Riot and Terrorist Affected Families for PDA Enclave Dhuri Plots Scheme

Riot affected means, a person who migrated to the State of Punjab from any other part of the country who has been issued a red card by Deputy Commissioner of any District of the State of Punjab and is continuously residing in Punjab since 1986.

Terrorist affected means a person who belongs to State of Punjab holding valid certificate issued by Sub Divisional Magistrate or Deputy Commissioner and have not availed any benefit of allotment of any plot, flat or house in any other scheme or station from any government agency of any state in India under this category.

As per the instruction issued by the Government of Punjab, those riots affected or terrorists affected persons who have not availed the benefit of allotment of a plot, house, apartment, flat, or commercial sites in any other scheme or station under this category from any government agency of any State in India will be given preference over and above the riots affected or terrorists affected person who have already been allotted booth or commercial site under this category in any part of the country.

As per the instructions of Government of Punjab issued vide Letter No. 16010 dated 23-10-2001, applicants who have been allotted booth or commercial site can also apply for the plot but he or she will be considered for allotment of a plot in case those are available after allotment to the persons in this category.

Eligibility Certificate for the Riot and Terrorist Affected Families for PDA Enclave Dhuri Plots Scheme

In case, the applicant is a member of the riot affected or terrorist affected families, a valid certificate issued by the Competent Authority (Deputy Commissioner) is required with the application.

A No Objection Certificate (NOC) as an affidavit issued from the ignored legal heirs, if applicable.

Certificates to be Submitted by the Sikh Riot Affected and Terrorist Affected Families – Annexure I and II

The certificate as specimen for this scheme as given at Annexure I and II is to be attached with the application form.

All the riot affected or terrorist affected families category applicants will have to submit an affidavit on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 25, attested by the Executive Magistrate or Notary Public (as per the specimen format given).

Allotment of the residential plots in PDA Enclave Dhuri scheme shall be governed by the provision contained in the Punjab Regional and Town Planning and Development Act 1995 and the Rules and Regulations framed there under and as amended from time to time.
