The Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) had launched a residential scheme (HUDA Scheme Code No. SC00000070) of 453 freehold plots in Sector 56 and Sector 56-A, Faridabad in Haryana on September 01, 2014.
Types and Categories of Plots
In the HUDA plots scheme Faridabad, the Haryana Urban Development Authority had offered total 453 freehold residential plots in Sector 56 and Sector-56A in the range of 90 square meters (4 Marla), 135 square meters (6 Marla), 162 square meters (8 Marla), 220 square meters (10 Marla), and 324 square meters (14 Marla) area.
In the HUDA Faridabad plots scheme, however, there were no 1 Kanal (450 square meters) plots, as in view of compliance of directions in CWP No. 11518 of 2013 titled as Dr. OP Mohindru vs. HUDA, the Haryana Urban Development Authority had withdrawn 23 Kanal plots it had advertised in this residential scheme earlier.
In the HUDA Faridabad Sector-56A plots scheme, the Haryana Urban Development Authority had reserved total 253 residential plots for general category applicants, 36 plots for defence personnel, 9 plots for para-military forces personnel, 11 plots for war widows and disabled soldiers, 7 plots for widows other than war widows, 7 plots for freedom fighters, their widows, children and grand children, 54 plots for scheduled castes and scheduled tribes, 12 plots for backward class, 5 plots for handicapped persons, 5 plots for blind persons, 45 plots for Haryana Government servants, 9 plots for dependents of Haryana Police officers or officials killed in an action or encounter.
The Allotment Rate of Plots
In HUDA Faridabad scheme, the Haryana Urban Development Authority had offered the residential plots at an allotment rate of Rs. 15,300 (4 and 6 Marla plots) and Rs. 17,000 (8, 10 and 14 Marla plots) per square meter.
