The Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) had announced result of the lottery draw for the GMADA Eco City Phase-1, Mullanpur residential plots scheme on November 28, 2011.
The Greater Mohali Area Development Authority had launched a residential plots scheme in Eco City Phase-1, Mullanpur (New Chandigarh) on September 21, 2011. The last date for submission of application forms for the GMADA Eco City Phase-1, Mullanpur residential plots scheme was on October 25, 2011.
In the GMADA Eco City Phase-1 plots scheme, the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority has offered total 870 residential plots of 83.60 square meters (100 square yards), 167.20 square meters (200 square yards), 250.80 square meters (300 square yards), 334.50 square meters (400 square yards), and 418.10 square meters (500 square yards) area.
The allotment for the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority’s GMADA Eco City Phase-1 residential plots scheme was made through a draw of lots and was held in Mohali (Punjab) in the presence of a panel of independent judges, GMADA officials, and eligible applicants.
Eligibility List of the Applicants
After the initial examination of application forms received under the GMADA Eco City Phase-1 plots scheme, total 158,227 applications for various sizes of plots were found to be eligible for the lottery draw for 840 residential plots.
The final list of eligible applicants for the draw was prepared based on eligibility as per the list.
For 83.60 square meters (100 square yards) residential plots total eligible applicants: 67,126
For 167.20 square meters (200 square yards) residential plots total eligible applicants: 53,186
For 250.80 square meters (300 square yards) residential plots total eligible applicants: 14,379
For 334.50 square meters (400 square yards) residential plots total eligible applicants: 11,043
For 418.10 square meters (500 square yards) residential plots total eligible applicants: 12,493
Out of the total 158,227 applicants for the lottery draw, 130,673 applicants were in the general category and 27,554 applicants in the reserved category.
