Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) will allow surrender of your multistory flat to the Authority, subject to the certain terms and conditions. The Authority shall also be free to exercise its rights of cancellation of allotment of a flat.

GNIDA Multistoried Flats Scheme BHS-15/2012 – Surrender or Cancellation of the Allotted Flat

The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) had launched a multistoried flats scheme (GNIDA Scheme Code BHS-15/2012) in Greater Noida Sectors on August 15, 2012.

GNIDA Multistoried Flats Scheme 2012 – Surrender of the Allotted Flat

The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority will allow surrender of your multistory flat to the Authority, subject to the certain terms and conditions.

1. If applicant surrenders before lottery draw of lots is held, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority will refund the entire Registration Money Deposit without interest.

2. In case the applicant surrenders after the lottery draw of lots is held, but within 30 days from the date of allotment, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority will refund 90% of Registration Money Deposit without interest after forfeiting 10% of the initial Earnest Money Deposit.

3. In case the applicant surrenders after 30 days from the date of allotment but before 90 days for Payment Plan E-1 and within 45 days of allotment for Payment Plan E-2 applicants, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority will refund 50% of Registration Money Deposit without interest after forfeiting 50% of the initial Earnest Money Deposit. The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority will not give any separate notice for this.

4. In case the applicant surrenders after 90 days from the date of allotment for Payment Plan E-1 or after 45 days of allotment for Payment Plan E-2 but before 6 months from the date of allotment, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority will forfeit 10% of the total premium of independent house. The Authority will refund the balance amount, if any, without any interest to the allottee. The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority will not give any separate notice for this.

5. In case, the applicant surrenders his or her multistory flat after six months from the date of allotment, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority will forfeit the entire deposited money.

6. In case, the applicant fails to deposit the due amount for his or her multistory flat within the stipulated time, allotment will be liable for cancellation. In case of such cancellation, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority will forfeit the money so deposited until the date of cancellation.

7. The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority will count the day of surrender of your allotment on the date on which application is received in the Authority office. The Authority will not entertain any subsequent claim based on a postal certificate.

GNIDA Multistoried Flats Scheme 2012 – Cancellation of the Allotted Flat

The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority shall be free to exercise its rights of cancellation of allotment of a flat, subject to the specific clauses relating to cancellation.

1. If an applicant has obtained the allotment through misrepresentation or suppression of material facts, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority shall be free to cancel allotment of the flat.

2. If an applicant has violated directions issued, or rules or regulations framed by the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority or by any other statutory body, the Authority shall be free to cancel allotment of the flat.

3. If there is default on the part of the applicant or allottee for breach or violation of terms and conditions of registration or allotment or non-deposit of allotment amount, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority shall be free to cancel allotment of the flat.

In the event of cancellation, under sub-clause 1, 2, and 3 given above, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority will forfeit the entire deposits until the date of cancellation and the Authority will resume possession of the multistory flat with structure thereon, if any, and the allottee will have no right to claim any compensation thereof.

The Last Date for Submission of Application Forms

The last date for submission of application forms for the GNIDA multistoried flats scheme BHS-15/2012 was on September 14, 2012.
