The Patiala Urban Planning and Development Authority (PDA) had launched a 210 freehold residential plots scheme (PDA Scheme Code PDA Enclave Dhuri) in PDA Enclave, Dhuri (District Sangrur) in Punjab on June 03, 2015.
As per Punjab Government’s current reservation policy, 2% of the total number of plots in 150 square yards, 200 square yards, 250 square yards, and 300 square yards plots category are reserved for the Legal Heirs of the Defence Personnel, Paramilitary Forces, and Punjab Policemen Killed in Action in the PDA Enclave Dhuri plots scheme.
Accordingly, the Patiala Urban Planning and Development Authority had reserved 4 plots for the Legal Heirs of the Defence Personnel (Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force), Paramilitary Forces, and Punjab Policemen Killed in Action in PDA Enclave Dhuri freehold residential plots scheme.

Allotment of a residential plot in the PDA Enclave Dhuri scheme to a Legal Heir of the Defence Personnel, Paramilitary Forces, and Punjab Policemen Killed in Action will be subject to fulfillment of the applicable eligibility terms and conditions.
Eligibility Conditions for the Legal Heirs of Defence Personnel for PDA Enclave Dhuri Plots Scheme
The applicant under Legal Heir of the Defence Personnel, Paramilitary Forces, and Punjab Policemen Killed in Action category must be a resident of Punjab only as defined by State Government or has been residing in Punjab for the last five years.
The applicant under Legal Heir of the Defence Personnel, Paramilitary Forces, and Punjab Policemen Killed in Action category must not have availed benefit of allotment of an apartment, flat, built-up house, or a residential plot under any reserved category in any scheme of any Government agency anywhere in the Punjab state.
Eligibility Certificate for the Legal Heirs of Defence Personnel for PDA Enclave Dhuri Plots Scheme
In case of legal heirs of the defence personnel and paramilitary forces, a valid certificate, issued to the effect that the personnel, on the basis of whose inheritance the application is being made, was killed in action in war or on law or order duty, issued by the Deputy Director, District Sainik Welfare Board is required.
In case of legal heirs of the Punjab policemen, a valid certificate, issued to the effect that the personnel, on the basis of whose inheritance the application is being made, was killed in action in on law or order duty, issued by the Director General of Police (DGP), Punjab or Deputy Commissioner (District Collector) is required.
Also, a certificate issued to the effect that the applicant is a legal heir of such person, issued by the concerned Tehsildar, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, or Deputy Commissioner, is required.
Affidavit to be Submitted by the Legal Heirs of Defence Personnel Category Applicants
All the legal heirs of the defence personnel, paramilitary forces, and Punjab policemen will have to submit an affidavit on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 25, attested by the Executive Magistrate or Notary Public (as per the specimen format given).
