Amritsar Development Authority – How to Apply for a Plot in ADA Amritsar Aero City Residential Scheme

For those individuals who wanted to apply for the residential plots, the Amritsar Development Authority (ADA) had launched a residential scheme of freehold plots (ADA Amritsar Scheme Code: Aero City Plots Scheme) in Aero City in Amritsar on May 18, 2015.
In the ADA Amritsar Aero City residential plots scheme, the Amritsar Development Authority had offered total 428 residential plots (including the reserved categories) to the applicants.
How to Apply in the ADA Amritsar Aero City Freehold Residential Plots Scheme
The application forms and brochures of the ADA Amritsar Aero City residential plots scheme were available in the authorized branches of 7 banks in Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh.

The Amritsar Development Authority received the application forms for ADA Amritsar Aero City residential plots scheme through online portal.
For those applicants who opted for bank finance, the Amritsar Development Authority made an additional login provision in the online portal for the bank officials.
In case of physical submission of forms by the applicants at the ADA Amritsar office, the Amritsar Development Authority would provide an additional login facility to the officials at the Single Window Service Counter of ADA office at PUDA Bhawan, Housing Board Colony, Green Avenue, Amritsar to register the applications on the portal.
Applicants can make separate application for each plot size along with prescribed earnest money. However, Amritsar Development Authority shall allot only one plot to one individual.
Only one application can be given by one family i.e. one or the other spouse or dependent children for one category (size) of plot. However, one applicant can apply for different category of plots (size wise) on separate application forms. In that case, earnest money will be charged with each application form but the applicant would be entitled to keep only one plot. In case the applicant is successful in more than one category, then in that case he or she will have to surrender the other plot(s) after giving option for retaining one plot with him or her within 30 days from the date of publication of the result of draw. If such successful applicant fails to inform about his or her surrender option(s) to the Amritsar Development Authority, then the Estate Officer, ADA, Amritsar will have the right to cancel any of the extra plot(s) and the entire earnest money shall be forfeited.
No documents are to be submitted with the application form. However, self-certification in the application form is necessary.
Amritsar Development Authority will summarily reject the incomplete or unsigned applications without conveying reasons.
If the information or documents supplied along with the application form or thereafter is found false or fabricated, such allotment shall be cancelled and the entire earnest money shall be forfeited along with institution of criminal proceedings against the applicant.
While preparing the list of the eligible applicants, the Amritsar Development Authority will consider only those applications, which are accompanied with the specified earnest money in the form of RTGS or NEFT or a Pay Order or a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the ‘Estate Officer, ADA, Amritsar’ and payable at the place where the application is being submitted.
The applicants shall pay the Earnest Money for ADA Amritsar Aero City residential plots scheme through RTGS or NEFT. For RTGS or NEFT to pay the earnest money in the bank, the applicants have to obtain UTR number. After obtaining the UTR number, an applicant is eligible to apply through RTGS or NEFT.
Earnest Money deposited should be strictly according to the size of the plot as specified in the ADA Amritsar Aero City residential plots scheme brochure (Rs. 200), as the cost of application form. However, an applicant applying offline, as a hard copy, can submit his or her application form along with earnest money in the form of bank demand draft in favour of the Estate Officer, ADA Amritsar.
The applicant must intimate any change in address immediately to the Estate Officer, ADA, Amritsar by a registered post.
