Several public and private sector banks were financing the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) for the Amritsar Development Authority’s ADA Amritsar Aero City residential plots scheme to the Indian citizens who wanted to apply for the residential plots in Amritsar, Punjab.
The different banks were charging 9.70 to 11.00 percent per annum as the rate of interest for the ADA Amritsar Aero City freehold residential plots scheme in the Earnest Money Deposit Scheme.
In the Earnest Money Deposit Scheme, the banks offer total or 100% finance of the earnest money required to be deposited with the application form.
