The Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) had announced result of the lottery draw for 160 two-bedroom freehold flats scheme in Sector 51-A, Chandigarh.
The draw of lots for the CHB Self-Financing Housing Scheme 2010 was held in the presence of a panel of independent judges, CHB officials, and eligible applicants at the auditorium of Sarai Building, Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector-32 in Chandigarh on March 23, 2011.
The Chandigarh Housing Board had launched a new residential flats scheme in Sector 51-A, Chandigarh on December 13, 2010. The last date for submission of application forms for the CHB Self-Financing Housing Scheme 2010 was on January 24, 2011.
CHB Self-Financing Housing Scheme 2010 had on the offer 160 two-bedroom freehold residential flats in Sector 51-A of Chandigarh Union Territory. These freehold residential flats were priced at Rs. 50.65 lakh for the ground floor flat and Rs. 47.39 lakh each for the first floor, second floor, and third floor flat. There were about 5,200 applications for CHB Self-Financing Housing Scheme 2010.
The draw of lots was held for 144 residential flats in the general and the reserved categories. The Chandigarh Housing Board has already allotted 16 residential flats under the Assured Allotment Scheme at a price of Rs. 89.50 lakh for the ground floor flats and Rs. 87.50 lakh each for the first floor, second floor, and the third floor flats.
The Chandigarh Housing Board intended to hand over the possession of flats to the successful allottees by June 2012.
