Whey Protein: This is a cheese by-product. HIV/AIDS causes excessive loss in body weight. Whey protein helps you gain weight. Further, it also increases CD4 cell count in your body. Diarrhea, a common side effect of AIDS medications, can be controlled significantly through whey protein.

Fish Oil: Often, HIV drugs increase your cholesterol levels. Fish oil supplements help stabilize these levels.
